A hotel cafe with the fort right down the road

Fort Cafe sits inside Swiss-Belhotel Nizwa, a seven-minute walk from Nizwa Fort. It handles the casual side of the hotel's food service, coffee and light bites for day guests and anyone walking in off the street, while the sit-down meals go next door to the main restaurant.

It's the group's first Swiss-Belhotel International property in the city, part of a push into Oman's interior after several Muscat openings. Too new for the old-town cafes' track record, but it sits right on the walk to the fort.
