The burger spot Sur was missing until last year

Brsk kept the menu simple from day one: beef burgers, fries, and a steak sandwich regulars order more than anything else on the board. It's across from the Musayrah clinic in Sur's Al Shariyah district.

Sur's food scene runs on seafood and Indian cooking, so a dedicated burger joint filled a gap that had sat open for a while, the kind of opening you'd expect in Muscat before it landed here.

• The steak sandwich gets talked up more than the burgers by regulars.
