Gelateria di Troppo

Troppo's gelato spinoff, soft serve first
Everyone orders the soft serve first at this gelato workshop from the team behind Troppo, one of Lima's better-known Italian restaurants. It's a separate address in San Isidro, not a counter inside the restaurant.
El Trinche put it on the year's openings list within months of the doors opening. Go in the evening, when the blocks around Los Libertadores actually fill up.

You have to try Gelateria Di Troppo in San Isidro 🍦 You can choose from their artisanal flavors, made with quality ingredients and prepared fresh to order 😋 We ordered the Pistachio ice cream, super creamy, with pistachio sauce and caramelized marshmallows; and the Francesca in vanilla, accompanied by salted amaro caramel and a delicate touch of olive oil—simply delicious ✨ They're open Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 8:00 pm 🫶🏻 Perfect for enjoying an afternoon or indulging in a sweet treat. Definitely a spot you'll always want to return to 🍨

I loved it, it's just that there isn't a huge variety of flavors. For example, my husband likes sour flavors and there wasn't anything to satisfy his sour cravings. But even so, the flavors we did choose were delicious and it was worth it! The service was super friendly; the young man currently working there is happy to give tips (10 soles).

Great place! The toppings and flavors combine really well. We ordered the Italian job sundae and loved it! We also added the marshmallows and they were to die for. The service was really great too, they were friendly, patient and explained everything to us. Although it’s a bit pricey it was definitely worthwhile.

There are good and bad reviews, but personally, I really liked it. It's not too sweet, and the combination with the marshmallows is quite enjoyable. The sundae in the photo cost me 35 soles... a bit pricey for what ice cream usually costs... but if you have the money and you're up for it, try it, enjoy it, and that's it! 🤪🥰✨️ What I do agree with some of the comments about is that, for the price, they should have a small area with tables and chairs where people can sit and eat comfortably (I hope they take that into account).
