Lima's centre finally has an antiquarian bookshop
Old editions, out-of-print Peruvian titles, stock you won't find in any online search. This is the first antiquarian bookshop in the historic centre, and it's built for people who already know what they're hunting for.
It's part of the Damero filling back up with places worth a detour. Skip it if you want a quick browse, come if you're ready to dig.

A very kind gentleman helped me find these beautiful books. I think this bookstore focuses more on antique books. I recommend coming here specifically for really old books, as I have just one suggestion: a few days later I found two of the books I found here (they aren't that old, at most three years old) online at another store for lower prices and brand new (between S/.10 and S/.20 less). Otherwise, the service was good.

We stumbled upon it by chance. A very kind gentleman served us, and we chatted with him for quite a while. He recommended books about Peruvian history, and it's undoubtedly the best memory I could take away from this country. Thank you.
