A jungle bar that never looks half-empty

Salvaje means wild, and this corner bar commits to the bit with jungle styling wrapped around the room. The house line has stuck: if it looks empty from outside, you're at the wrong bar, because Salvaje is rarely quiet.

Friday happy hour is the move, pulling a younger crowd than the family cevicherias nearby. The corner spot facing Plaza Bolognesi puts it right in the middle of the strip that's grown into Puerto Maldonado's small nightlife scene.
