A cocktail bar hiding under a century-old staircase
No sign on the street, just a staircase inside an old building on Pres. Magsaysay Street with a bar tucked underneath it. Find the entrance and you're in for craft cocktails, low light and food that actually gets kitchen attention instead of just soaking up the alcohol.
Cebu's bar scene has long been split between hotel lounges and nightclubs, nothing much in between. nth Lair fills that gap, staying open until 3am for the crowd that wants neither extreme.
