Mori & Mill runs 6am to 10pm on Lapanday Road in Buhangin, hours before Davao's cafes even think about unlocking their doors. Most places here start at nine or ten, so the early crowd found this one fast.
Buhangin sits on the north side, residential rather than commercial, well off the tourist circuit. Go before eight for a table by the window.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere was cozy, clean, and inviting. The serving time was just right, so you wouldn't have to wait too long for your meal. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back.

Stepping into this spot instantly feels like a warm, gentle hug soft warm lighting, sleek modern decor with cozy earthy tones, and just the right amount of quiet to relax or catch up. The space feels bright yet intimate, with clean seating and lovely little touches like the candlelit table setting that make every meal feel special. We ordered the carbonara pasta with just the right balance of savory bits, plenty of parmesan, and a hint of black pepper to elevate every bite. Paired with a cold iced drink, it was the ultimate comfort meal.

I came to Mori and Mill thinking of just getting a coffee before I start my busy day. As soon as I came in, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. They brought me to my seat and I couldn't help but notice how warm and cozy the place is. I love how the dessert and drinks station were right smack in the middle of the room so you can watch them prepare your order. The food was DE-LICK-CIOUS! I had the Caesar salad because a girl has got to start off healthy before diving into the rest of the meal. Grabe yung sarap nung dressing! Hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa rin mahulaan anong nilagay nila doon. Then I went on to try the Bahn Mi Quesadillas. No regrets. Just love talaga with every bite. I also ordered the Spicy Sausage Shakshuka kasi kakaiba siya. I swear the punch I got from the first bite was enough to keep me digging in for more. Syempre, there's always space for desserts. I tried the gelato because I was curious with the flavors. Grabe yung sarap nung Hokkaido milk. Elevated talaga. So I had to try the turon and I was so glad I did kasi tamang tama lang yung tamis niya. Syempre hindi ako aalis without tasting the coffee. Yun kasi talaga yung intention ko eh. I tried the Spanish Latte and I had to order a second cup because it was that good. Every sip just calmed my nerves. Will definitely come back to this place kasi sobrang sarap ng food at vibes. Totoo yung motto nila: Pause. Gather. Enjoy.
