Sunset cocktails, streets away from Albufeira's louder bars

Skip the strip. Tonic Bar sits a few streets back in Albufeira's old town, on Rua Miguel Bombarda, with a terrace angled for the sunset and signature cocktails worth lingering over. Sharing tapas keep the table busy while the light changes.

It works as a coffee stop by day and eases into cocktails by night, without ever tipping into club territory. Owners Andrew and Lucy built it for the crowd that wants a drink before the town gets loud, with live music some nights.

Good to know

Come for the golden hour, the terrace faces west for a proper sunset.

Brilliant location with greats drinks and food. The staff also are fantastic and were the main reason to make multiple visit. Be sure to meet Andrey to have a great laugh. He was brilliant. We had some great jokes together. I recommend to anyone in the area
