Coral-patterned towers on Lusail Marina, by Qatari architect Ibrahim Jaidah

Two towers on Lusail Marina wear a facade pattern lifted from Gulf coral, the same reefs that once fed Qatar's pearl-diving trade. Qatari architect Ibrahim Jaidah of Arab Engineering Bureau designed them, and this is Rosewood's first Qatar property.

Inside: 155 hotel rooms and suites alongside 162 Rosewood Residences, eight restaurants and bars including a Lebanese dining room, and spa and pool decks facing the water. It's the newest luxury hotel in Doha actually taking reservations right now.

Good to know

• It is on the Lusail Marina promenade, about 20 minutes north of West Bay - the Lusail metro line drops you close.
• Eight restaurants and bars are spread between the two towers; several take non-resident bookings.
