Minimalist coffee and pastries on Lusail's Marina

Muted tones, clean lines and a menu that skips the full kitchen for coffee and pastries. Haus 333 sits in Marina Twin Tower A, a few doors from 212 Café on the same floor.

The crowd leans into Doha's newer specialty coffee scene, people here for the photos as much as the espresso. The owners hired baristas specifically for their craft coffee background, and the place has built a following mostly on how it looks.

Coffee measured accurately — finally, as one reviewer put it — with beans that actually have discernible notes and a cortado around twenty-two riyals. The outdoor seating carries a Mediterranean feel that comes into its own once the weather turns. The interior is artistic and minimal. The chairs are the one genuine complaint; nobody comes here to lounge.

Haus offers quality coffees: measured accurately (finally), with beans that have noticeable notes, and presentable served. Prices are also decent: We ordered a cortado at QAR 22. In addition, they have a lovely outdoor seating that brings Mediterranean vibes (can’t wait for the weather to get cooler to enjoy it). Artistic and minimal sums up their interior - the only complaint is the chairs. Not many comfortable seats to relax on unfortunately. Staff are friendly, and the baristas are fantastic - keep it up 👏🏽 Very happy to see hidden gems like Haus pop up in Lusail - where coffee is taken seriously and done well!
