Qatari ceramics and stationery, with a workshop table in the back

Dalu makes ceramics, notebooks and desk objects with artists working around Doha. This standalone store at City Plaza in Fox Hills, a short walk from Lusail Stadium, is the only spot that stocks the full range instead of a chosen few pieces.

The back room doubles as a workshop space, running sessions with makers like Farisha of Ruwaa Artistry and the ceramicist behind NKT Ceramics. Arabic calligraphy and poetry run through the collections, including notebooks and magnet sets made with Qatari artist Mubarak Al-Malik. You'll also find pieces at Alif Stores in Dafna and the brand's Gift Shed in Doha Festival City.

Good to know

• Open Saturday to Thursday 10am to 10pm, Friday from 3pm.
• Workshops are announced on @dalu.qa and fill quickly - check before turning up expecting a seat.
