Real sourdough finally lands near Piața Unirii

Good bread in central Constanța used to mean a supermarket shelf. AMO fixes that with a proper in-house lab, turning out naturally leavened sourdough alongside croissants, cinnamon rolls and doughnuts made from scratch, not trucked in.

The doughnut lineup is the fun part: a coconut cream bounty version, plus seasonal fruit creams that rotate through summer. It's a short walk from the Piața Unirii tram stop, worth the detour before the good stuff sells out.

The pastry is really good, i tried the crownie, the cruffin, the new york roll, the babka, the salty danish pastry and the focaccia. The focaccia was below average but the danish was good. From the sweets i tried I honestly recommend the crownie and the new york roll. The cruffin had a very small amount of cream inside compared to the other ones tried The staff could be a little more friendly as they tend to seem bothered by questions or simple presence of the customers in the shop
