A pottery studio's stock lands inside Red Sea Mall

No two shelves at Saranpots look the same. The stock is hand-thrown tableware and vessels made in small batches, so nothing is quite symmetrical and what you see one visit may be gone the next.

Handmade ceramics in Jeddah have mostly lived at weekend markets and on Instagram. Finding a maker's work inside the city's busiest mall, next to the usual retail chains, puts it in front of people who weren't looking for it.

Good to know

Pieces are thrown and glazed in small batches, so the shelf changes week to week.

Not only was the place so cute but also the staff working there!! The owner and everyone else provided a welcoming atmosphere for me and my family! I made a bowl using the wheel, and my instructor was very patient and polite while teaching me. She made it super easy for me to learn how to make pottery using the wheel. For my case, i had to come to the place for 3 consecutive days to finish my piece, and everyone made sure to welcome me every day!! The owner was sooo cute and lovely, she made me feel very welcomed when i got shy for coming so often. Everyone made sure i had everything i needed and answered all the qs i had while painting. Im so glad i came to this place, for it reminded me of how much i used to love pottery and painting!! I encourage anyone who wants to learn how to paint/ make pottery to come to them bcz they make the process seem so easy and fun!!

I had the absolute best time celebrating my birthday at Saran Pots pottery studio! From the moment we arrived, the team had gone above and beyond with decorations to make it feel really special. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, and the whole experience was just so much fun. Everything was well organised, and the staff were amazing!!! So friendly, helpful, and genuinely enthusiastic about making sure we had a great time. It was such a unique and memorable way to celebrate, and I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, creative experience or a special way to celebrate an occasion. I’ll definitely be back!
