Skip the themed cafes. Suwaa bet on a stripped-back, design-forward room instead, and it worked: Al Naeem finally has a coffee shop worth crossing town for.

The menu sticks to the specialty-coffee basics, pour-overs, espresso drinks, a short pastry case. No signature drink to chase here. The room is the draw.

It is one of the best specialty coffee roasters in Jeddah. Consistency is the biggest issue in this industry. Yet, in my experience, this roastry is maintaining its quality high and never disappointed me. The interior is flawless and very elegant. The staff are well mannered and professionally trained for the coffee and the hospitality. As a personal opinion, one thing is missing: sweet bites to balance the coffee flavor.
