Riyadh Opened 2026

200 keys of lifestyle design landing next to Riyadh's giant cube

Mondrian's first Saudi property is due to open in 2026 inside Al Malga Urban Village, right next to the Mukaab, the enormous cube anchoring the New Murabba development. Ennismore's design brand is building 200 keys total: 130 rooms and suites, 60 one and two bedroom apartments, and 10 serviced apartments for longer stays.

At signing, the brand talked up the cocktail bar culture it's known for elsewhere, framing it as pioneering mixology with a Saudi twist in a country with no alcohol licensing at the time. However that plays out, it hands the Mukaab district its first international lifestyle flag in a city that has mostly leaned toward classic luxury so far.
