Khobar's record shop lands in JAX warehouse J08

Everything streaming was supposed to kill sits on these shelves: new and secondhand vinyl, CDs, cassettes, Led Zeppelin next to the Bee Gees next to Arabic pressings. Antiques, vintage radios and record players fill the gaps between crates.

This feels more like a hangout than a shop. Open-mic karaoke, DJ sets, live shows, it even hosted a stage for Riyadh Music Week in December 2025. Next door sits Bohemia Records & Cafe, open late. A few years ago Riyadh had almost nowhere to buy a record.

Good to know

The shop doubles as a live venue for gigs, karaoke nights and tribute concerts, so check the Instagram before you go digging.
Bohemia Records & Cafe operates right next to the shop, so you can browse crates and then sit down with a coffee.

Great fun, the parking was very limited for the area and size of the Venue. The walk short but when the ladies are all dressed up and the night time temperatures are still in the high 30s it puts a strain on it.

Amazing family vibes, loved the artists performing there. Music performances have been great such as michael jackson tribute. They have a cafe inside which is cute but their drinks are just on an average.

One of the best places for coffee and when you get inside, you can see the stage and some fun entertaining activities each weekend each week you can book whatever you want from here if there’s a certain event book a ticket or come at the window of the coffee shop and then you will buy a ticket for the event it’s a very creative space and a very nice place to check vinyls and drink coffee

The vibe was great — there was live traditional music with Gulf instruments, and the singer performed nonstop, smoothly mixing songs together. Groups of men were dancing on stage, which added a lot of energy to the atmosphere. The organization was excellent. Golf carts take you from the entrance, the venue is well-ventilated, and everything felt comfortable. There’s a café downstairs and the bathrooms were very clean. The ticket price is 150 SAR for a 4-hour event, which I think is very reasonable. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience, and I’d rate it 8/10.
