Grand old cafe on the main square

Kavarna Evropa sits right on Mestni trg, Ptuj's main square, and has been the town's grand old cafe for as long as anyone can remember. Order a coffee in the morning or a slice of cake in the afternoon and watch the square and the town tower do their thing.

The location is the whole point: front row seats on the busiest stretch of the old town. Locals use it as a meeting spot and a rest stop as much as a place to eat, part of the daily rhythm of Ptuj.
