Furnishing a new place in Alicante? Hôma's Vistahermosa store is the first stop. It's the chain's ninth in Spain and its first inside the city, spread across more than two thousand square metres of decor, kitchenware, textiles and storage.

It sits in the Parque Comercial Vistahermosa, a retail cluster on the way to San Juan beach, so it's an easy add-on to a shopping trip rather than a destination on its own.

This store has good products at good prices, but there are very few staff members. I wanted to buy an item that was on a very high shelf, and I ended up spending more than 15 minutes looking for an employee to bring it down for me. The wait was so long that I considered grabbing a ladder I saw nearby and getting the item myself. The checkout lines also have long queues due to this lack of staff. However, the few employees they do have are pleasant.

Did not expect it to be so big and actually quite inexpensive! Got beautiful mat, golden round tray with glass bottom, and gorgeous home perfume bottle with sticks - all for just 24€! (I'd pay that just for the tray.) You can definitely find something for every room there!
