Gildas and cold beer, one stall deep in Churruca market
Skip the tables. La Kioska is a stall inside the Churruca galleries, the once half-empty covered market that's become one of Alicante's more talked-about food stops. The move is gildas and a cold beer, plus a short list of aperitivo bites made to eat standing up between stalls.
It's a stop on a walk through the market, not a sit-down destination, and priced that way. Locals treat it as the quick pause on a Saturday afternoon lap. The crowd around you shifts the whole feel of the place, since it's really just a moving piece of the gallery's atmosphere.

They've changed the menu, and the Cantabrian anchovy and quail toasts are spectacular!!! The young, tattooed guy was especially attentive; he treated us wonderfully and gave us great recommendations. We'll definitely be back!

The variety of gildas was wonderful, and Allen was incredibly professional. The service was 10/10; he's a very polite young guy.

A great place for a snack or even a meal. It has a bar and some high tables, a small but sufficient menu, and the gildas are very good. I recommend it. The market in general has many food stalls and a great atmosphere. I recommend it.

We didn't know about it before, and we loved it. From now on, it'll be a regular thing.
