Costelo opened on Iparraguirre on March 1, 2025, just around the corner from the Guggenheim. Pull up a stool at the bar for a quick drink or settle in for a full meal.

The menu mixes small pintxos with larger plates, priced from 3 to 12 euros.

Good to know

Order the house cocktail before you look at the food menu.
Expect a crowd around 2:00 PM for lunch.
The bar area is usually easier to get into than a table if you are alone.

Dina and colleagues were all fantastic and so welcoming and accomodating, especially with our broken Spanish. Food was delicious. Best patatas bravas we've had in Bilbao (we've had a lot) made with potatoes in their skins. Really nice ambience and served food late when nowhere else was serving, and excellent value given how close it is to nearby Guggenheim and tourist attractions. Also nice music! Thank you Dina et al!

On a hot day over 90 plus, this air conditioned restaurant near Guggenheim is just the place to visit after the museum. For lunch service, we got seated right away. We read the English menu. The service is nice and friendly. The decor is elegant. Food is delicious. Will recommend.

Dina was excellent. She helped me pick the local wine which was quite refreshing. We ordered drinks and tapas.

A really tasty, beautifully prepared, lunch. The service was excellent - friendly and courteous. Very reasonably priced given the quality. I am embarrassed to say that I have forgotten our waitresses name but she was fantastic.

The food was good, especially the chicken which was very tender. The service from our waiter, Dina, was excellent. Nice interior in the restaurant.
