A beach kiosk on Es Arenals from the Malaguena crew

Gitana opened on Es Arenals beach on 18 July 2024, the first of eight new kiosks to launch that summer after Formentera renewed its beach concession licenses. It took over the spot where the La Franja kiosk used to be.

The team behind Malaguena in Sant Francesc runs the place, with journalist Nina Palmieri among those involved in the project.

Good to know

• Expect to find the same menu style as the Malaguena restaurant.
• Go early in the morning to beat the heavy crowds on Es Arenals.
• Check the daily specials board for fresh fish caught locally.
