A solar-powered kiosk where Pirata Bus used to stand

KM11 opened on 3 August 2024 at the far west end of Es Arenals, the last of the eight new beach kiosks to open on Formentera that season.

It replaces the Pirata Bus, once a regular stop for members of Pink Floyd and King Crimson. The staff, prices, and view stayed the same; the building now runs on solar panels and battery storage.

Good to know

• Arrive before 1:00 PM to secure a table with a direct sea view.
• Expect to pay around 18 Euros for a standard lunch plate.
• Ask the staff for the daily catch, as it is often sourced from local boats that morning.
