Vermouth by day, cocktails by dark, seafront the whole time

Grab a table on the terrace and watch the water while you work through cured meats, cheese, olives and a short list of tapas. Marmut sits right on the Passeig de la Ribera, and the setup is deliberately simple, nothing that needs a kitchen brigade behind it.

Morning vermouth crowds drift into evening cocktail ones as the sun drops. Named after the Catalan word for marmot, it works just as well as a mid-morning stop as a late-afternoon one.
