Live mic nights and shisha at a beachfront hotel bar

Skip the big beach clubs down in Narigama. Blue Note is smaller, quieter, and built around the jam session, not the party crowd. Felix runs the food, drinks and shisha bar now, continuing what his father started at the little Hotel Blue Note on Galle Road.

The live mic and jam night is the draw, pulling in musicians passing through Wewala as much as tourists staying the week. Grab a shisha, pull up a chair, see who shows up to play.
