Tonight we dined at Pier 1947 and thoroughly enjoyed our experience... The food was consistently delicious and generous, the service by Asela outstanding, and the atmosphere just gorgeous. Highly recommend travelling down from the tourist hotspot of Uppuveli to visit this great venue.

really lovely spot to watch the sunset! lots of comfortable seating and the view is great. drinks are reasonably priced (got a coke for 600) and the people running the bar are really sweet and attentive. there’s also music which adds a great atmosphere. highly recommend!!

This bar is a true hidden gem! The staff were amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The cocktails were spot-on, but the real highlight was the stunning sunset view. It was the perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of Sri Lanka. Highly recommend!
