Rooftop pool bar four floors above Paramaribo

Skip the menu, order a cocktail and stare at Paramaribo from the pool deck instead. Elixir sits on top of Yogh Hospitality, the tower that became the city's first five-star hotel and, for a while, its tallest building.

Weekends bring DJ sets and themed parties that pull a real crowd. Weekday afternoons are quieter, mostly hotel guests and a few regulars stopping by after work.

We were warmly welcomed and received friendly service from Omar. The drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. We will definitely come back again. It’s a beautiful place and highly recommended ::))🍹
