Coffee and Swedish mellanmål in a former tobacco shop

Kersh opened on Götgatan on February 2, 2025, run by Stefan "Storken" Johansson and Aadel Kersh in a converted former tobacco shop on Södermalm. The café focuses on quality coffee alongside traditional Swedish mellanmål (the between-meals snack) and has quickly become a neighbourhood gathering spot.

Café was perfect. Organic, nicely brewed. Thank you for the other tips also!

Best iced latte in Stockholm. The coffee is so smooth and bold I had to buy the beans to take home. Very cute cafe would go back everyday for the coffee!

This is maybe not the place where you go to sit and drink your coffee, but a place where you enjoy your coffee standing and talking to other people. The coffee is roasted with love, and served by people that know how good coffee should taste. Some interesting alternatives on the coffee menu, e.g. Espresso Tonic now during summer.

I came just before closing. The space is very chic, like a little speakeasy inside of an old theater or something. The branding is dope, and the barista was nice. That being said, my particular espresso brew wasn’t top tier, though still enjoyable with the perfectly sized raspberry cookie I ordered. I would still come back to try another of their good variety of beans. ☕️

Outstanding coffee. After trying many cafes, finally this one served excellent espresso drinks - smooth, with no bitterness. Very good! It’s a tiny bar that only holds a few people.
