Filter coffee and beer next to a motorcycle shop

Stress opened at Waldeggstrasse 71 in June 2026, sharing a building with the motorcycle dealer Streetfighters Switzerland. Doors opened on a Friday at exactly 5pm, with a short menu built around filter coffee, homemade iced tea, and Appenzeller beers.

The owners call it, half joking, the most honest bar in Interlaken. It skips the polish of the hotel bars along the Höheweg, closer in spirit to the workshop next door than to the tourist promenade.
