A Montreux roaster's first outpost, right on the Marktplatz

Espresso and filter here come from beans roasted on site, rotating through more than 40 varieties sourced from over five farms. It's the first branch a Montreux specialty roastery has opened outside home turf, built from scratch by architects Brönnimann.

This is a small, precise operation, not a big café. Marktgasse 8 sits two minutes from the Höheweg promenade, worth the detour before the tour buses roll in.
