Afriloaf opened January 31, 2026, in Njiro, near The Pillars and across from the Bahai hotel. It's one more bakery in a neighborhood that's filled up fast with small food spots over the past year. Bread and baked goods, nothing fancier than that.

The opening announcement gave an exact time, 10am on a Saturday, a small but telling detail for a place run with care rather than one that just flips a sign one day. Fresh bread, straightforward prices, a neighborhood stop rather than a destination.
