Family-run gallery of Tanzanian art on Lindi Street
Art Treasure fills its shelves on Lindi Street with paintings, wood carvings, masks and instruments the family has collected over years, not weeks. Staff explain the pieces instead of just ringing up a sale.
Guides point people here first when they want something that wasn't stamped out in a factory, and the stock turns over enough that a second visit shows different work. Open daily, roughly 8am to 8pm.

I visited this shop with a local taxi driver from D Whites, and I had a great experience. The people are friendly, welcoming, and offer reasonably priced souvenirs. The sisters who work there are especially kind and respectful, making me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for quality souvenirs and warm, genuine service.
