A pared-back matcha bar quietly remaking Chang Phueak

Ceremonial-grade matcha, not a coffee menu, is the whole point here. The Japandi look, wood counters and small-batch ceramics, matches the wave of single-focus matcha bars that landed across Chiang Mai in late 2025 and early 2026.

Desserts are made to order alongside the drinks instead of sitting in a display case. Chang Phueak used to mean the bus terminal and the morning market. Matcha Cabinet, on Hussadhisawee Soi 4, is one of the spots nudging it toward a destination cafe scene.
