Samorncafe's mochi cheesecake lands a second address, right across from Central Festival

The mochi cheesecake that made Samorncafe's name at its original Thung Hotel Road shophouse now has a bigger stage. The new branch sits at Monotown Studio, directly opposite Central Festival Chiang Mai, with the same cake case and coffee menu but a lot more seats.

The original spot was a tight squeeze. This one's built for the mall crowd, and it's a real jump in scale for a cafe that started in one small storefront.

One of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had. The mochi cheesecake was amazing, and so was the coconut Thai tea! 😍

The coffee was delicious, the atmosphere was great, the shop was spacious with two floors, comfortable seating, and not crowded. There was a wide selection of cakes, all looking delicious. The staff were lovely and provided excellent service. I will definitely come back if I have the chance. 😊
