The Box

Kairouan Opened 2024

Board-game café near Lycée 2 Mars

The Box opened in 2024 behind L'Annexe primary school and the girls' lycée, facing Lycée 2 Mars. Youssef Derbel runs the place. Card games sit on every table. Cheesecake and tiramisu are on the menu, plus a blue lemonade that shows up in most of the photos people post from there.

Students from the nearby schools make up a big share of the regulars. That shapes the hours and the vibe more than the drinks menu does. Message the page to book a table, or check the account for the current contact number since it's changed more than once.

Good to know

• Try the blue lemonade, it's the drink that shows up in most photos from here.
