Skip the tourist shops downtown. This is the everyday kebabçı the Çekirge locals actually use, grilling İskender, döner and skewered meats without any fuss.

It's a few steps from the thermal quarter, but the crowd here is neighbourhood, not sightseeing. Order the İskender or go for a mixed grill. Either one is a safe bet.

The location is on the main street, but there's normally no parking available. During peak hours, I assume cars will be parked in front of the door. There's space for two cars to park one after the other on the side. I wasn't impressed by the taste. The meat in the pan was tough. The burger called "Beyburger" isn't very suitable for children; it's both expensive and has a dense, runny filling. I didn't really taste the soup. The appetizers served are clearly priced accordingly. There aren't many alternatives in the area. In the Kükürtlü region, even markets are rare, let alone restaurants. Recommended.

We came for iftar (breaking the fast). They have a very rich and delicious menu. The soup was hot and the appetizers were very tasty.
