Coffee and matcha on the Suadiye street that runs to the sea
Kohi takes its name from the Japanese word for coffee, and the room follows suit: calm, uncluttered, nothing competing for attention. It sits on one of the Suadiye streets that slopes down to the water, which does a lot of the work on a good day.
The coffee and matcha lists run longer than you'd expect for a café this size. Beyond drinks there are sandwiches and toasties, egg-based breakfast plates, desserts and bowls, enough to justify staying past a single cup.

A hidden gem with the sweetest staff. The matcha was exceptional, and the brownie was simply perfect. Definitely worth a visit.

It’s a very elegant and stylish place with a refined atmosphere. The staff are attentive and friendly. The coffee was really good, and the carrot raw bar I tried was especially impressive and delicious ✨

Nice interior, the chicken wrap was nice too. But I ordered a lactose free latte, I saw the barista add normal barista milk but my partner insisted that he saw them use lactose free milk, that what I saw was for another coffee so I shouldn’t send it back. I had the latte and had a horrible evening, because I am lactose intolerant. So I was right about the milk. Also for the price, the coffee should be better.

Very good spot. The coffee is good and the service impeccable. We didn’t have to wait for a long time. I will come back.
