Walk into BrandSmiths and it doesn't feel like a store, more like a friend's living room that happens to sell things. Handcrafted kimonos share shelf space with candles, ceramics and small design objects, all laid out without a hint of a retail grid.

It landed at the start of gift season with an all-handmade Christmas lineup, and local Instagram accounts picked it up within weeks as Moda's go-to for presents. Find it a couple of streets back from the Kadıköy waterfront, among the neighborhood's cafés and vintage racks.

Open every day 10:00-20:00, which is rare for small shops in Moda.
