Kabale's go-to coffee spot, roasted right here in Uganda

Cafe Barista sits on Kabale's main street, close enough to Cafe Bea and Safari Diners that the three effectively share a block. Locals point here for a business meeting over coffee, not a night out. The house blend is grown and roasted in Uganda, not imported.

Regulars keep coming back for the same reason: the staff remember their faces. It stays a coffee stop with a kitchen behind it, nothing more.

  Stopped by and had a lovely latte (tasted just like home!) and a tasty chicken sandwich. Friendly staff too. Definitely recommend stopping here to break up your drive.

  Nice food, and good waiter! Only cash or mobile money (for a fee) coffee was average but probably better than what you can find around. Toilets were clean!

  It's well located if you're crossing town on the way to your destination. Food if good compared with other places and definitely the cappuccino was very surprisingly good! If you like coffee, stop to enjoy one!
