Fifty-plus flavors of Kerala's beaten-rice milkshake

Avil milk is Kerala's beaten-rice milkshake, and Mouzy has turned it into an obsession with more than fifty versions: banana, mango, chocolate, nut, you name it. The Al Bustan strip near the central bus station isn't scenic, but it's where the crowd already is.

There's barely any seating here. It's a counter shop, not a cafe, built for a mostly South Asian regular crowd grabbing a drink and moving on.
