Fully vegan pastry, laminated the hard way
No butter, no eggs, still flaky. Morso makes its entire range of laminated pastry and bread vegan, the technical challenge most bakeries dodge by keeping one sad corner of the counter dairy-free.
It's on Saville Row, a short Georgian street off Bartlett Street near the Assembly Rooms. Bath has a huge vegan population and, until this place, barely any specialist baking to match.

Popped in after hearing about this place from a friend. Greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. Thoroughly enjoyed the pastries I purchased, in particular the earl grey bun was SO good. A delicious vegan heaven! My work frequently takes me to Bath, so I will definitely be back.

Oh my god. Highly recommend trying this vegan bakery out. It’s not just any vegan bakery, it’s the best one. I’ve visited a few times now, every time I can’t believe how good their baked goods are. Wonderful coffee too & the staff are so friendly. Today I had the gochujang swirl, had it before, will absolutely be ordering again. The strawberry and cream cruffin - possibly the best vegan dessert I’ve had. Last time I also had the Welsh rarebit pastry, 10/10 I need to come to try the salads and sandwiches too they look incredible. What an amazing addition to Bath.

Best vegan pastry I’ve ever had! So hard to find a good spot for vegan pastries that taste just like the ones I used to enjoy before going vegan, but this place really lived up to my expectations! I’ve recently been to Sweden, that’s known for its cinnamon/ cardamon buns and the bun I got here tasted just like the Swedish ones! 10/10 recommend :)

Popped in for some pastries and coffees to go and it was lovely! The earl grey bun and cinnamon bun were both amazing (and had just come out of the oven) and the coffee was amazing. There’s a little outdoor seating area, cool decor, fun local products and the staff were really accommodating.
