Vinyl Grounds
★ 4.8 · 77 reviews Leeds Opened November 2025
Coffee by day, wine and vinyl by night
The turntable spinning in the corner tells you as much about this place as the drinks list does. Vinyl Grounds runs as a coffee shop through the day and flips into a wine bar by evening, with a working record collection shaping the room either way.
Central Road has become one of Leeds's busier little streets for independent openings, and this one earns its spot by working for both crowds instead of picking a lane.

Came here yesterday 17.7.26 around 7pm and so glad we did. We wanted to go somewhere with a good atmosphere.. good music... fantastic coffee and great service....and that is exactly what we got. Service with a smile and friendly. It is great to have Independant coffee houses like this one. Such a great find... we will be back. x

I was up in Leeds for a weekend and popped by on Sunday afternoon to grab an iced coffee and soak up some sunshine sitting outside. The team, vibes and selection was lovely. I loved that they had their own brown sugar syrup which was perfect in my iced latte. The music and ambience was cool and nothing is forced. Good vibes, beautiful people and great coffee and pastries ❤️ I'll be back next time I'm in Leeds

My first time visiting Sunday afternoon/late on 15th June.... An absolutely amazing time. Excellent customer service and choice of coffees and food. Also a choice and alcohol as desired. An absolutely amazing vibe and atmosphere. A unique setting to both chill and relax listening to genuine vinyl music , a cross range and music tates being played on actual turntables than on dcs or piped music produced in the background. I would totally recommend visiting and not to be truly missed! Second to none friendly greeting on first visit and made to feel like part of the family and a life long regular on your first visit, encounter!😊 Definitely making this my regular place to visit and enjoy. Also in the heart of the city center! A definite must to try, though expect to be addicted respectfully!!!!😊 * Plus an independent coffee shop unlike the lager corporate house hold names?
