American Dive

Dive bar rules, games included, inside 207 Peachtree
Downtown Atlanta has been filling up with polished cocktail bars, so American Dive goes the other way on purpose. Games and a street-level entrance replace the velvet-rope routine, from the team behind Red Phone Booth and Amalfi Cucina + Mercato.
It shares the 207 Peachtree building with sports bar Peachtree Sporting Club, part of one of downtown's bigger restaurant overhauls. Come for a cheap beer and a game of something, not a menu of infused gins.

Great atmosphere and has live music. Staff is friendly and fast. Plenty of space with a great theme. Drinks were pricey but they hit the spot.

Door man Gabe made the experience before we even walked through the door! We were traveling from Hilton Head first time in ATL and tried eating at hard rock before and was so disappointed. Figured we’d try something else before heading back to the Airbnb, and Gabe was extremely informative and genuine. We got the tour of the menu, recommendations and great vibes right away. Highly recommend especially if Gabe is working!!

First timer in Atlanta, going to the American dive was a refreshing experience. I came with a few friends and we made our way to the Hard Rock Cafe, where we received very unpleasant service. Instantly, we left and made our way to the American Dive. Gabe was outside and immediately made our Atlanta trip better! He was kind, helpful and funny. He gave us the perfect experience we were looking for! Would recommend time and time over, if you are in the area please ask for Gabe to make your night!

Glad I stumbled upon this place. Super cool atmosphere, fun vibe. Staff and management were very engaging and freindly. They've only been open a few days and we're working out a few minor kinks but nothing overly inconvenient. The food was very good. I got ribs, pulled pork and brisket. All were cooled to perfection with good flavor. This place will become a local favorite for sure.

My man and I were leaving the World Cup Fan Festival and heard someone mention free entry, live music, and BBQ, so we decided to stop by and check it out. The moment we walked up, Gabe greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome right away. He told us there was no cover charge that night. After spending the day in the crowds and excitement of the festival, this spot was the perfect place to unwind. The atmosphere was fun and laid-back, and the live music added to the great energy. They had pool tables, darts, and friendly staff, we ended up having a really good time. We’ll be back again soon!
