Skip the River Walk crowds and go up instead. 1Watson sits on the roof of the AC Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk, pouring craft cocktails and Southwestern-leaning small plates with one of downtown's best views.

The river bend and the Tower of the Americas both sit in frame from up here. It's one of several new hotel rooftop bars that have opened downtown, but the height and the view make this one worth the elevator ride.

George was our server and he was incredible! We exchanged several great places to eat outside of downtown and he was great to chat with! George also had GREAT recommendations for apps, entrees and deserts. The view is incredible from this restaurant. One of the best views in the city from a rooftop restaurant. While not being the cheapest place, the food was one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Easily one of my favorite pastas for an entree. Also loved the hatch Mac and cheese for the app. The brownie was delicious as well! Highly recommend this restaurant as a date night in San Antonio for locals or tourists! Best to ask to be in George’s section as well!

We came in for a late brunch and to watch a soccer game, and we had a fantastic time! The drinks were delicious, the food was straightforward and tasty, and the dessert was satisfying. Good portions and great prices! Shoutout to Jeanette for incredible service and friendly conversation during our experience. She is wonderful and definitely added to the welcoming environment. Also, the view across the rooftops is beautiful, so check it out!

Another amazing experience here at 1Watson! Hubs and I shared the shrimp artichoke dip with fried wonton. I had the Golden Sangria as pictured. Everything was fresh, hot and tasted amazing! Our waitress Gabriella made other wonderful recommendations, was very attentive to our needs and provided exceptional service. The atmosphere is warehouse-hip, cozy and casual yet elegant. We will for sure be coming back!

Such a great all round experience. We stopped for drinks and dessert. The staff was friendly and helpful in offering drinks depending on flavors I enjoy and avoiding the ones I don’t. We ended up with perfect drinks to match our desert and celebration
