Foam is judged on exactly what its name promises, and it holds up. The cups share the counter with desserts, sandwiches and wraps inside the Edificio Los Cárpatos.
It's part of a new wave of coffee bars landing blocks apart in Chacao this year, alongside Mingus and Tributo. Weekends run latest, open until 9:30pm Thursday to Saturday.

Pleasant atmosphere with industrial decor featuring eclectic and retro-futuristic touches. They open at 9 am. Breakfast options are limited and gluten-free, so we only had coffee. The menu includes both sweet and savory dishes.

Foam Café has become one of my favorite places. It has the perfect atmosphere for anything: from sitting down to work quietly, to meeting up with a friend for a chat, or killing time before a date. My personal recommendation is the iced teas and the cacao-based drinks; they're truly exquisite. Another great plus is that if your visit lingers into the evening, they have a fantastic cocktail and drinks bar. The only thing I'd like to see is a wider variety of sweet drinks on the menu, but overall, the experience is always excellent.
