Talina's pitch is simple: paninis and drinks in a room designed to be photographed, on the main avenue of Las Mercedes. It skews younger than most of the cafés that opened this year, and it markets itself straight at a social crowd rather than a working-lunch one.
Café openings on this strip have come fast lately. Talina stands out by leaning all the way into the photo-ready angle instead of splitting the difference.
