The wood panelled room where Dalat has drunk coffee since the 1940s
Dark wood covers the walls, the banquettes are red, and little has changed since Trần Đình Tùng opened this small room just off Hòa Bình square. Trịnh Công Sơn and the Saigon artists who passed through Đà Lạt in the 1960s used to drink here.
The shop still runs on that history more than on any modern coffee technique. The menu stays simple: phin coffee, cocoa, and lemon soda, poured without fuss.
