French viennoiserie lands in Algiers for the first time

Croissants and pains au chocolat from the case, or a full sit-down breakfast and lunch: PAUL's first Algeria branch runs the same format as its shops everywhere else, now inside Garden City mall in Chéraga on Algiers' western edge.

Most of Garden City's other tenants lean fast food and casual dining, so a French bakery chain moving in reads as a step up for the mall itself.
