An easygoing, fairly priced café in a part of town short on them

Café Cités Vertes isn't trying to out-design Hydra's coffee bars across town. It's a plain, relaxed room in El Harrach with decent coffee at prices well below what the west-side cafés charge, and that gap is exactly why locals keep coming back.

Families treat it the way a neighborhood café should be treated: a stop before or after errands, not a destination in itself.
