Lemongrass Asian Kitchen and Lounge

★ 4.6 · 125 reviews English Harbour Opened April 2024

Red curry, sushi, Peking duck, one harbour-front kitchen

Order red curry, then sushi rolls, then Peking duck, all from the same kitchen across the road from Falmouth Harbour Marina. The cocktail list leans into lemongrass and yuzu, and the lounge stays open later than most kitchens on the harbour.

Lemongrass closes for the low season and reopens each autumn, so if you're here in July or August, expect the gates shut.

Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and staff, we also got some great recommendations for both food and drink.

I had the Massaman Gai (chicken curry), and it is creamy, tender, and just a little kick. It's marked as a chef recommended dish on the menu, and it did not disappoint. If you come for dinner, especially on weekend, you may want to make an appointment.

Lovely dinner at Lemongrass! We went to Roti Sue earlier in the day and Sue pointed out Lemongrass to us and we're so glad she did. We happened to be in Antigua during restaurant week and got the $50 USD Prix Fixe menu (3 dishes), Massaman Gai Curry, a Geisha Kiss and a Thaijito. The food was soooooo good. Everything was cooked perfectly; the veggies in the panaeng curry were particularly divine and the spider crab was perfectly crispy. Both curries were very yummy and you're given the option of mild, medium or spicy when ordering. The food, combined with the ambience and service, made the whole experience dreamy. We didn't get a reservation and walked in around 7:30 pm and got a table for 2 (off season). The venue is pretty large, especially compared to the other restaurants on Dockyard Drive. There were a few seating areas and we opted for the couch seating in the middle level.

What an explosion of flavors! My first time trying this restaurant and it was great. I enjoyed every thing that touched my lips. We tried the sharing menu for Restaurant week and it was delicious. My favourite was the spicy prawn soup and the sushi! Yummy! The cocktails were deliciously sneaky and garnished beautifully. Service was good and waitress were happy to explain and offer recommendations. 10/10 would return!

Great atmosphere, reasonable prices m and outstanding service by Onicia our server. Food was also good but not huge portions. We had the Pad Thai and the sizzler platter and enjoyed them both and neither were spicy at all. Overall nice dinner and appreciate the outstanding service.
