Butcher's block, bakery and wine cellar, not a restaurant

Roca skips the dining room. It's a hybrid butcher's block, bakery, pantry and wine cellar at Sugar Ridge, across from Jolly Harbour, with organic produce, charcuterie, prepared foods and a small café counter for coffee.

It's the retail-led sibling to Rokuni next door, built for grocery runs and slow browsing, not a sit-down dinner. Roca opened March 28, 2026, one of the more distinctive additions to the west coast's food scene this year.

  Visited them for their bi-weekly wine tasting and must say it was a great, interactive tasting session. Our host, Sophia, was quite knowledgeable and interacted well with the patrons and encouraged questions and engagement.
